DURHAM, N.C., JULY 18, 2017 — Premier Research has named Susan Romberg Senior Vice President for Clinical Operations. She brings deep industry and therapeutic experience to the role, which oversees global monitoring, clinical management, and document management.
Ms. Romberg has worked in the contract research and pharma industries for more than 20 years, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Clinical Development at Chiltern International. She previously was Global Vice President of Project Operations at ReSearch Pharmaceutical Services, VP of Clinical Operations for the Americas at PRA International, and Executive Director at Clinsys Clinical Research Ltd., among other executive roles. She began her career as a clinical scientist at Astra Merck.

Ms. Romberg is a professional registered nurse whose experience includes work in an intensive care unit. She sits on executive committees with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Avoca Quality Consortium and is a PharmaTimes Executive Committee member and finalist judge.
